Saint of Stonewall
Icons Keychain
We have SO much to thank Marsha P. Johnson for. One of the most prominent activists for gay liberation and a huge component of the Stonewall uprising of 1969, Marsha dedicated her life to LGBTQ+ rights. So we've decided to dedicate this illustrated portrait to the that same cause, and a portion of proceeds from sales of all of our Queen Marsha art will forever be donated to to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute!
From their website: "The Marsha P. Johnson Institute (MPJI) protects and defends the human rights of BLACK transgender people. We do this by organizing, advocating, creating an intentional community to heal, developing transformative leadership, and promoting our collective power."
Our keychains start as portraits hand drawn in our Brooklyn studio. The original Leroy's Place illustrations are laser cut in acrylic and assembled by our small team, in-house. This line is inspired by the look of Shrinky Dinks, but don't be fooled! Our unique process makes our jewelry and accessories MUCH more durable and higher quality. Cool!
